 Wave Soldering Maintenance

The dedrossing of wave solder machines requires the manual removal of dross from hot solder.  During this operation micron sized lead-oxide particles are released into the air. Manufacturers of wave solder machines warn about the health hazards associated with such an operation.  Maintenance workers use respirators for their protection, yet residual dust can settle in the work area and contaminate the facility.

Our F5200 filter unit with a flexible exhaust arm extracts the air and toxic particles away from the worker and out of his breathing zone. A HEPA filter with high efficiency removes the lead-oxides out of the air and prevents the contamination of the facility
